Magnesia Chrome Brick with High Fire Resistance

Product description of magnesia chrome brick

Magnesia chrome bricks are mainly composed of magnesium oxide (MgO) and chromium trioxide (Cr2O3). Magnesia chrome brick is the main crystal phase of magnesium and magnesium spinel, which is baked in the oxidation atmosphere at 1600~1800 ℃. It can also be made of unfired bricks, water glass and other chemical adhesives.

Advantages of magnesia chrome brick

The magnesia chrome brick has the characteristics of high fire resistance, strong alkali slag corrosion resistance, good thermal stability and acid slag resistance.

Application of magnesia chrome brick

Magnesia chrome bricks are mainly used for cement rotary kilns, storage rooms of glass kilns, furnace linings of iron and steel kilns, permanent layers of refining ladles, non-ferrous metallurgical kilns, lime kilns, mixed kilns, high-temperature refractory kiln linings, etc.

More relevant refractory products: Silicon carbide castable
