High Temperature Resistance Ceramic Fiber Rope

Product introduction of ceramic fiber rope

Ceramic fiber rope contains 15% organic carrier, which helps to form the physical form of the product burned at around 750°F (400°C). These ropes are made of multiple ceramic fiber cores screwed together. Standard three-stranded rope is relatively soft and low density, making it the most economical option.

Features of ceramic fiber rope

  • High temperature resistance.
  • Resistance to chemical corrosion.
  • Good thermal shock resistance.
  • High mechanical strength.
  • Low conductivity and heat capacity.

Applications of ceramic fiber rope

Ceramic fiber ropes have applications in many fields, including furnace door sealing or furnace and boiler caulking, expansion joints, cable or pipe wrapping, high temperature sealing or gaskets. These products are widely used in welding, foundries, aluminium and steel mills, boiler insulation and sealing, exhaust systems, shipyards, oil refineries, power plants and chemical plants.
